Nurse Practitioner

Serving in the role of a Nurse Practitioner since 2016, Jennifer Monical provides a wide variety of health services for women of all ages. She enjoys providing preventive services including wellness visits and weight management as well as evaluation of problems like pain, bleeding, and urinary issues.

Her extensive nursing expertise over 30 years in areas including critical care, wound care and peri-operative services is an asset to the team that cares for women undergoing surgery as a part of their treatment plan at BWH.

During her Nurse practitioner training, Jennifer developed a passion for women’s health. She joined BWH to serve the community where she spent her entire life. Jennifer is noted for her compassion, listening skills, and holistic approach towards problems facing women. She works together with other providers in the area for a well-coordinated care plan. “Each patient who visits us wants more, needs more, and deserves more.”

As a part of this philosophy, she developed and launched an obesity management and weight loss program. Collaborating with each patient, she believes in providing comprehensive solutions to improve health and quality of life for women.

Outside of work, Jennifer spends time with her family, enjoys running and gardening. She travels for medical mission work in underserved countries like Kenya, Cambodia, and India.
